Sixty years of
compressed air.

1966
Company established as “Metric Moulding Industries,” manufacturing water pumps.
WATER PUMPS · THE FIRST PRODUCT -
1989
Rathore Machine Tools established — made valves and did job work for companies including Ingersoll Rand.

1990
Produced the first Reciprocating Air Compressor, expanding the product range.
THE FIRST RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR -
1999
Expanded to a larger 500 m² facility.

2000
Started exporting to the world. Acquired adjacent land for expansion.

2004
Launched the brand Comptech for air compressors and Precitec for spare parts. Built a 1,000 m² manufacturing facility.
THE COMPTECH BRAND ESTABLISHED -
2005
Introduced the first Screw Air Compressor with a GHH airend, and the High Pressure Model 115th that changed the PET industry in India.

2006
Introduced the first High Pressure Oxygen, CO₂ and Nitrogen compressors.

2009
Built the first High Pressure Oil Free Air Compressor for the PET industry — supplied to Om Shri Geeta Packaging, Baddi, still running today.

2010
First oil-free high pressure compressor exported to Nairobi, Kenya.

2011
Began manufacturing at a new 10,000 m² facility outside Ahmedabad. Started in-house fabrication and air receiver manufacturing.

2014
Launched the energy-saving CTSD VFD+ Series — screw compressor with VFD and PM motor.

2016
Shifted completely to the Zak Industrial Area unit, Ahmedabad — 10,000 m².

2018
Launched the Super Premium Efficiency 2-Stage Screw Compressor; sold a 180 HP unit to a chemical company. Launched the Air Booster Series for the PET industry.

Vision formed: to reduce carbon emissions by becoming the most energy-efficient compressor manufacturer in the world.

Built an in-house battery plant using LFP cells.

2024
April: Launched the VX1, a premium electric scooter. End of year: Commenced in-house electric motor manufacturing.
VX1 · READY FOR DISPATCH -
2025
Expanded the portfolio to a motorcycle and an economical scooter.

Upcoming launch of a uniquely designed scooter, motorcycle and 3-wheeler. New state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with injection moulding, harness manufacturing and chassis manufacturing — plus expansion of battery manufacturing, motor manufacturing and a complete assembly line.
